Writing has always been the easiest way for me to get my thoughts out. It\u2019s what keeps me centered. Writing lets me float \u2026 but not too far away. Lets me pour out the part of me that only I can touch. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

If you are a writer, you know that there is always some part of the writer in your creations. I may not want to reveal which part of the story is mine or which character holds my thoughts, but it is there. It is impossible not to place a part of who you are in your story. Where else does the story come from but you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The story I am writing now is a love story. A very complicated, intense love story. It\u2019s exciting for me to put myself in the mind of the character. To be in her mind is to control or lose control of her thoughts. It\u2019s interesting to see where my thoughts go for her. I have an outline for the story, but she keeps wanting to veer off it. And I let her. Why not? I want to see what she wants.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Sometimes I feel like a therapist trying to guide her when she resists. The funny thing is, like a therapist, I know she will eventually realize her foolishness and return to the path I have set her on. She just has to see it for herself.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n
