When I saw Lin Manuel Miranda\u2019s stage play \u2018Hamilton\u2019, I remember so vividly the way I felt when he boldly declared \u201cIt\u2019s time to take a shot\u2026 and I\u2019m not throwin\u2019 away my shot\u2026 I\u2019m not throwin\u2019 away my shot\u201d.<\/p>

I started thinking, sitting in my chair in the theater, \u2018Am I throwing away my shot? Am I doing enough to create the life I want? Do I appreciate the options I have? Am I making the most of the opportunities that come to me? Taking my shot. Do I create my own opportunities? Am I taking my shot?<\/p>

He went on saying \u2018Every action\u2019s an act of creation<\/strong>\u2026\u2019 and I\u2019m thinking about this. Every action, every decision, every thought is an actual act of creation. Every act is an act of creation…<\/p>

I\u2019m thinking about that now as I hit the keys on this keyboard. My thoughts are creating the actions I\u2019m taking by writing this. A thought precedes every action.<\/p>

This is why thoughts are so important. They literally create your life. YOU create your life.<\/p>
